Ready to trick or treat yo’ self? Well, you’ve come to the right place! Today I’m teaming up with six of my blogger bffs to showcase how you can be the ghostess with the mostess this October by whipping together a fun-filled (and delicious) Halloween Charcuterie Board.
Ideal for a night with your ghoulfriends or as a surprise for your little ones, a Halloween Charcuterie Board is equal parts snack and decoration. I whipped mine together two ways: on a tray (for a smaller crowd) and on table paper (for when we’re allowed to start getting together for parties again).
This year, I whipped together a plate of deliciousness in soft pastel tones. As always, I turned to my favourited Edmonton-area bakery – Whisk Dessert Co. – for some boo-tiful desserts. Let’s take a peek:
Sugar Cookie Pumpkins
Without a doubt, these blush pink and white cookies accented with gold are the cutest ’lil pumpkins in the pumpkin patch (and the tastiest, too).
Toasted Marshmallow Candy Corn Macarons
When a macaron looks like candy corn and tastes like toasted marshmallows, you know you’ve found the perfect Halloween treat.
Meringue Ghosts
Creepin’ it real with these hauntingly adorable meringue ghosts.
Halloween Candy
No candy board is complete without some good, old fashioned candy! I took a quick trip to Dollarama and hit the jackpot with these:
- Dracula fang dummies
- Skeleton key rings
- Colorful coated marshallows
- Foil-wrapped chocolate ghosts
I also found some skeleton hand serving spoons and affixed a pair of black velvet bats to my dessert tray for some added flair.
