Creepy Lychee Halloween Martini - Fun Halloween Party Ideas

My girlfriend Alex and I spent a fun-filled afternoon reconstructing a martini from memory that we both loved at a restaurant a few years back.

Lychee and grapefruit shine through with every sip and a fun, eyeball garnish is sure to earn you title of ‘ghostess with the mostest’ this Halloween.

Spooky Eyeball Martini for Halloween

Here’s what you need to shake one up:

Creepy Lychee Halloween Martini

Yields 1 drink

You’ll Need:

  • 0.75 ounces vodka (we used Grey Goose)
  • 0.75 ounces lychee liqueur (we used Soho)
  • 1 ounce lychee juice (you can buy lychee juice in a bottle, or simply reserve the juice from your canned lychees)
  • 0.5 ounces fresh lime juice
  • 0.5 ounce fresh grapefruit juice
  • Lychees (fresh or canned) – to muddle and garnish
  • Blueberries, to garnish
  •  Red jam, to garnish
  • Ice

Directions:

In a cocktail tin, muddle one whole lychee with vodka and lychee liqueur. Add lime, grapefruit, lychee juice and ice to the tin. Shake vigorously and strain into a martini glass.

To make some spooky eyes as a garnish, spoon a bit of jam into two lychees, fill each with a blueberry and serve on a cocktail pick.

Pro Tip: Do you enjoy your martinis extra cold? Fill your martini glass with ice to help it chill while you make your cocktail.
