Happy Valentine’s Day! Like most special occasions, one thing I look most forward to on February 14 is the pretty-in-pink themed treats.

This year I whipped together a glamorous dessert table for Elle, Aaron and I to enjoy… and thought I’d share all the details in case you’re looking for some Valentine’s Day dessert ideas!

I’d love to take credit, but when it came to the baking skills, cupid’s arrow struck my friends over at Whisk Dessert Co., an upscale bakery here in St. Albert.

They created some heavenly treats that I paired with a stunning fresh floral arrangement in soft white, pastel pink and muted green tones from Funky Petals – North Edmonton.

A rose gold sequinned tablecloth, some simple white candles, pink and white serve ware, ornate utensils and  heart-shaped coffee mugs (US link) were certainly pretty but played second fiddle to what was on the plates.

Cherry Fudge Cream Puff

Head to Whisk Dessert Co. ASAP if you’re a cream puff fan. Filled with house-made chocolate fudge, fresh whipped cream and a maraschino cherry, they were l-u-s-c-i-o-u-s.

Raspberry White Chocolate Napoleon Heart

Wow! This decadent napoleon is comprised of flaky pastry filled with white chocolate mousse and raspberry pastry cream, then topped with fresh raspberries and vanilla buttercream. Definitely a dessert to fall in love with.

Vanilla Sugar Cookies

These cookies were literally edible art and tasted as good as they look!
