Are you a fan of cocktails with floral notes? Then this Whyte Lavender Prosecco is the drink for you!

Lavender Prosecco cocktail recipe

Last week I got my hands on a bottle of Token Whyte Lavender Aromatic Bitters. Made right here in Edmonton, they’re a star ingredient in cocktails at many of my favourite local restaurants, like the Black Pearl.

I saw this Lavender Prosecco recipe on Token Bitters’ website and am so glad I mixed it up here at home.

I played around with adding lemon juice and gin but to be honest,  this three-ingredient recipe is perfect in its simplicity.

Whyte Lavender cocktail recipe for New Year's Eve

This cocktail would be a fab summer or springtime sip, especially with the addition of a fresh lavender sprig. I’d 100 per cent recommend it for a backyard garden party or bridal shower if you want to add some flavour and flair to a traditional glass of Prosecco.

It could also be a New Year’s Eve-worthy drink if you’re in the mood for a cocktail with some floral notes! I simply added a rim of edible glitter to give it a wintertime feel.

Here’s the recipe.

Whyte Lavender Prosecco Recipe

Yields 1 drink

You’ll Need:

  • Prosecco or Champagne
  • 0.50 oz elderflower liqueur (I used St Germain)
  • 2 dashes Token Whyte Lavender Bitters

Directions:

Add the elderflower liqueur and lavender bitters to a Champagne flute. Fill the rest of the glass with chilled Prosecco.

No garnish required – though a fresh lavender sprig or a lemon twist are never a bad idea!

A big thank you to Token Bitters for sending along this bottle of Whyte Lavender Bitters for Aaron and I to try. I love their light and fresh floral essence – so don’t be surprised if you see these bitters appear in another drink here on the blog in the future!

Cheers!
