Looking to be the ghostess with the mostess this Halloween? Ideal for a night with your ghoulfriends or as a surprise for your little ones, a Halloween Dessert Board is equal parts snack and decoration!
How to Arrange a Halloween Dessert Board
As you can see, I arranged my Halloween dessert tray similar to how I put together charcuterie boards.

Whether I’m using a wood plank, serving tray, table paper or platter as my foundation, I always start by adding any dishware and my largest items first. If you have any loose items like dips, nuts or candies, little bowls or ramekins are ideal for containing them, while adding a bit of structure to the board.
I then fill in loose gaps and spaces with smaller items: in this case, chocolates and candied popcorn. However, fresh fruit, nuts, candy and dried fruits are also excellent options for a dessert tray!
As always, I turned to my favourited Edmonton-area bakery – Whisk Dessert Co. Bakeshop and Coffeehouse – for these boo-tiful desserts. Let’s take a closer peek:
Chocolate Chip Monster Cookies
This was my favourite dessert – the marshmallow teeth made me laugh!
Zombie and Ghost Macarons
Equal parts spooky and delicious, these themed macarons were Elle and Emmett’s favourite.
Monster Cookies
The miniature eyeballs are a fun play on this classic cookie with cookie, pretzels and M & Ms.
Ghost Meringues
Hauntingly adorable, light and sweet, these ghost meringues are a classic at Whisk.
Fun Halloween Dessert Board Decor
A few hellishly good Halloween-themed finds.
