When I’m out on the town, one of my favourite drinks to order is an Elderflower French 75. If you haven’t had one before and are a fan of bubbly, you’ll love it! It’s a sweet gin cocktail made with fresh-squeezed lemon juice and elderflower liqueur, topped with bubbles.
So when my bestie Alex (from Alex and Tribe) and I were chatting about teaming up to produce fun cocktail recipes this summer, I knew the Elderflower French 75 would be a great way to start. Plus, if I’m always ordering it out at restaurants, why not perfect it at home!
This year I even whipped it up to celebrate over the Christmas season!
Let’s check out the recipe:
Elderflower French 75
Yields 2 cocktails
You’ll need:
- 2 ounces gin
- 2 ounces elderflower liqueur
- 2 ounces fresh-squeezed lemon juice
- Prosecco or Champagne to top, approximately 6 ounces
Directions:
Mix gin, elderflower liqueur and lemon juice in a cocktail shaker. Pour into a Champagne flute or coupe and top with chilled prosecco.
Full disclosure: we enjoy a spirit-forward beverage. If you prefer a milder drink, cut the gin and elderflower liqueur in half and top with extra prosecco.

Why not try it at your next brunch or get together in place of mimosas or standard bubbles. We’re sure your guests will love it!
