I wanted create a retreat where we could curl up as a family to enjoy movie nights at home and this Kasha sectional has been a DREAM. I was initially drawn to it for its aesthetics – I love its contemporary design and neutral fabric. But I’m most thrilled with how comfortable and spacious it is – and the very reasonable price point helps, too 🙌

Aaron and I are huge fans of @sofaland (all three levels of our home are currently furnished with Sofa Land pieces) and I highly recommend checking out this locally-owned gem the next time you’re in need of some new furniture or decor. They have hundreds of fabric options – which I put to the test when custom-making these accompanying pillows. The lighting in our basement is tricky so it was so helpful being able to bring fabric samples home to see how the tones would look in our space.

And for some height and a pop of greenery in a basement where no real plant could live, I couldn’t pass up on this faux Birds of Paradise plant. Such a great #sofaland find.
