As a first-time Mum, I’m learning a lot of things firsthand, especially when it comes to baby and kids’ products. Are you considering getting a safe step stool for your home? I might be able to help! Today I’m sharing my thoughts on the Little Partners Learning Tower.
There are some kids’ products I LOVE and couldn’t image parenting without. Like Elle’s stroller, loveys (they were a HUGE help during sleep training) and bibs (I swear by them so much that I always give them as gifts).
And others were …ummm, well… a flop. I honestly never used our bottle warmer. And I chose a beautiful highchair solely on its looks and it’s currently falling apart LOL.
I’m happy to say that the Learning Tower has made my love list. I’ve had it for almost two months now. Some things lose their lustre after a few weeks, but this step stool has become more and more useful. We use it on a daily basis.
Why I Love the Learning Tower
I love it for two reasons. One being, it’s great for Elle. I raise her to counter height and she gets to participate and explore new experiences in the kitchen, like helping prepare meals.
The second reason is that it’s great for me! Nine days out of ten baby girl needs an audience for everything she does. Which I LOVE. But that means I end up playing down on the floor at her level while the stack of dirty dishes in the sink gets taller and taller.
The Learning Tower helped give me the freedom to get things done again. Now I can raise Elle to my level and she can color or play with toys under my watchful eye… but I’m still able to get some chores done. Who knew I’d be so pleased to be able to unload the dishwasher or make lunch! #momlife
It’s also great for snack time. I’m sure Elle’s not the only kid who has a love-hate relationship with her highchair. She’d much rather eat a quick snack at counter height… and this Mom is glad she’s in a contained space, rather than running around the house, smearing watermelon on the walls!
Learning Tower Specs
The Learning Tower is made from poplar and birch, so it’s super solid. It’s adjustable and will grow with Elle until she’s 6, though it can hold up to 500 pounds. She can get in and out of it on her own, safely, which is its biggest draw.
I chose white (surprise, surprise) so it fits in with the aesthetic of my kitchen. But they have various colours – from green to red – as well as playhouse and easel attachments you can add.
The only thing that might be a concern is its size. At 39 by 24 by 22 inches, it fits in my kitchen no problem but might be an issue if you have a smaller space. Little Partners does offer a comparable product in a smaller size, though: their 3 in 1 growing step stool.
Anyway, I hope all this info on the Learning Tower was helpful! Good luck step stool shopping. And if you’re looking for more kid inspiration, you can check out my tour of Elle’s nursery and list of 10 favourite baby items.
