Snack party for two with my favourite little crew.❤️ Today I’m sharing all the pretty details behind this quick and easy kids’ Christmas party table I set up using supplies from Lil Penguin Parties.
I don’t know about you but I’ve been on a bit of an emotional rollercoaster lately. 2020 has been a tough year, right?!
While I try to stay positive and do feel grateful for our family’s health, I was a bit down yesterday after hearing about the new restrictions that will impact Christmas.
Childhood is so fleeting and I feel like the kids have missed out on a lot this past year, so I’m doing my best to bring a little magic to our days spent at home. Case in point: this impromptu Christmas snack party that got all the smiles!
Kids’ Christmas Party Table Decor Details
I brought up the kids craft table from the basement and draped it with our rose gold table cloth, tucking the excess fabric underneath. For the past three years, it’s been my go-to tablecloth for special events – from birthday parties to bridal showers. When the kids saw it, they knew something special was going on.
Using tape, I secured this felt light bulb Christmas garland to the wall and cream pom pom garland to the table. I layered over a faux fur table runner and set up this pretty blush tone tableware from Lil Penguin Parties’ Christmas collection.
I brought out some fruits, veggies and a special treat from Cobb’s Breads. And, of course, some pickles at Emmett’s request. Then, all it took was some Christmas music to turn a typical afternoon at home into something Elle was excited to tell her Dad about when he came home from work.
Thank you
A big thank you to Maggie at Lil Penguin Parties for gifting us this beautiful party supplies. I was very impressed by the quality of the dusty pink paper tableware and actually wiped everything down so we can reuse it.
While Lil Penguin Parties is based here in the Edmonton area, they ship across Canada and the USA. If you’re looking for some whimsical party supplies, decor or mylar balloons for your next special occasion, I’d highly suggest checking them out.
