Navigating the waters of motherhood can be a challenge. But today, that challenge is made easier. I’ve teamed up with six amazing Mum bloggers and we’re each sharing our “Mama Must-Haves” – products we use and love that make parenting easier. And to make things even better, we’re all hosting giveaways on our Instagram accounts as well!
If you’re joining me from Alyse Warren, I’m so glad you’re here. Alyse just welcomed her sweet daughter Rowan in March and has some fabulous ideas when it comes to newborns.
My Favourite Toddler Products
Today I’m highlighting five products I LOVE as a toddler Mum. However, if you’re in the baby stage, I’m happy to let you know that I shared my ten favourite baby items a few months back.
So, let’s take a peek at my faves:
1. Little Partners Original Learning Tower from Elfe Juvenile Products
I love our Little Partners Original Learning Tower from Elfe Juvenile Products SO much that I wrote an entire blog post on it!
It’s an absolute staple in our house. Elle uses it countless times a day to raise herself to counter height. I love the independence it gives her to participate in new experiences in the kitchen, from coloring to snacking and helping me bake. And, not gonna lie, it’s great having my hands free to get some chores done.
The Learning Tower is adjustable and will grow with Elle until she’s 6, though it can hold up to 500 pounds. And she can get in and out of it on her own, safely, which is a huge draw. I highly recommend it for any parent looking for a safe, high-quality step stool.
Luckily enough, Elfe Juvenile Products is offering 50 per cent off all their Little Partners learning towers and step stools until the end of August. AND, if you keep reading… I’ll be sharing details on how you can win one for yourself!
2. Make My Day Bib
These Make My Day bibs are the perfect combination of practical AND adorable.
I love them so much, I’ve started giving them as gifts to all my first-time Mum friends.
Elle started wearing these bibs when she was six months old. They’re adjustable and will continue to grow with her until she’s 3. The large catch pocket helps keep toddlers’ clothes stain free – a near impossible feat given how messy they can be!
We have four of these silicon, dishwasher-safe bibs on rotation and a year and a half in, they still look (and smell) brand new. Seriously, they’re the Rolls-Royces of bibs, y’all!
3. Aden and Anais Musy Mate Lovey
There are many different approaches and viewpoints when it comes to sleep training. Given that I’m the worst morning person in the world, I put a lot of effort into reading all the sleep training books and having all the discussions with my Mum friends to ensure things went as smoothly as possible on the sleeping front.
Overall, I’m happy to say that our nap and nighttime routine has been a success. And on those difficult nights when a sleep regression rears its head, I count my lucky stars that I introduced a Musy Mate Lovey into our sleep routine.
This Aden and Anais muslin security blanket is light and breathable, making it the perfect first sleep companion for babies and comfort object for toddlers. We have three in total and they’re the most-used and well-loved items Elle owns.
4. Sleep Sack Wearable Blanket
When Elle was a baby and she learned how to roll, I stopped swaddling and introduced a sleep sack wearable blanket. Now that she’s a toddler, sleeveless sleep sacks continue to be a staple in our bedtime and nap routine.
I’m a fan of breathable muslin sleep sacks, which zip overtop of Elle’s pjs and provide comfort and warmth in our cold winters and air-conditioned summers without the hassle of loose blankets.
Elle really loves them, and I was so happy to discover that there are several brands on the market, such as Halo and Aden and Anais, that specialise in making sleep sacks for toddlers and older kids.
5. Mommy and Me Items
Okay, ya, who am I kidding? These won’t make your life any easier, but they’ll definitely make it CUTER!
In recent months I was fortunate enough to receive some matching ‘Mommy and Me’ Beaufort Bonnet Company pyjamas and a pair of toddler red-sole moccasins from Tiny Soles Boutique.
If you’re anything like me, you’ll have a whole lot of fun matching with your little!
