I think it’s safe to say that when it comes to home decor, we all have something we’re dying to try.

For me, that something was classic white bedding.

Anytime I found myself scrolling through Pinterest and stopping to admire a swoon-worthy bedroom, the bedspread – invariably – was white.

The problem, though, was that I loved my gray-toned GlucksteinHome Westminster bedding. Even after several years’ use, the duvet cover remained in immaculate condition, so I couldn’t justify replacing it. Plus, my husband loved it.

But a few months ago we decided to upgrade to a king-sized bed and I knew the day had ARRIVED: I could finally pounce on all things light, bright and airy.

I headed out shopping and several duvet sets caught my eye. But then I saw the Classic White Collection by GlucksteinHome and my search was officially over.

I was immediately enamored by the understated elegance of the all-cotton matelassé duvet cover, which featured an overlapping circle design. Plus, I loved that the coordinating euro shams and decorative cushions in a linear matelassé would help add texture and dimension to my all-white palette.

I was also excited when I saw that Hudson’s Bay carried a blush chunky knit cushion and throw, as I wanted a pop of pink to help tie into my bedroom’s new wallpaper.

And, I can’t lie – I’m one of those people who loves buying what I know. And given that I’ve already owned and loved three GlucksteinHome bedding collections (in our master and guest bedrooms, and previously in our condo), I felt confident in my choice.

Well, now that the bedding is all set up in our room and we’ve had more than a few peaceful nights of sleep,  I couldn’t be happier. Plus, I’m pleased to report that this collection washes like a dream and the sheets are super comfortable.

Clearly, both Monty and Elle agree LOL!
