American Thanksgiving is less than a month away! Looking for some pretty-in-pink entertaining inspo? Today I’m sharing my easy greenery and blush pink fall tablescape with a pumpkin vase centerpiece.
So, something I’ve found interesting two years into launching chandeliersandchampagne.com is that blogging really makes you more conscious to the passing of time. Though our house often still feels ‘new’ to me, I’ve now designed five fall tablescapes in our home – and this is my third time documenting it here on the blog!
If I had to choose, this year’s look wins as my favourite yet (though last season’s blush and aqua tablescape is a close second).
Here are all the details to recreate this Greenery and Blush Pink Fall Tablescape in your own home:
1. Wow with a pumpkin vase centerpiece
When you first looked at this table, did your eyes immediately lock on the white pumpkin centerpiece?
Believe it or not, you can make one for yourself in less than ten minutes! I’ve dedicated an entire blog post to answering all your questions and giving step-by-step directions on creating a centerpiece using either a fresh or faux pumpkin.
But, in short – to achieve this look I simply cut a hole in a 9″ Michael’s craft pumpkin, inserted a vase with water and styled fresh roses alongside weeping willow, feather reed grass and snowberries cut from my garden. I love how they look natural yet elegant.
Then, I placed the pumpkin on a cake stand to give it some added height.
While I always love using fresh foliage, don’t fear going faux. Here are some similar faux alternatives that’ll look good all year long:
2. Add a pop of blush pink
If you checked out my spring tablescape a few months back, you might recognize these gorgeous GlucksteinHome Allegra Organic Stoneware plates in blush. They’re beautiful in their simplicity and add an elegant, feminine charm – as well as a pretty pop of color – to my fall table setting.
I complemented their blush tone with a linen table runner – though a tablecloth would’ve also been a great option – and natural, textured placemats.
3. Layer in fresh greenery and fall decor
To add some height, I created two smaller flower arrangements that complemented the centerpiece. I also added some plain white candles for ambience and grey velvet pumpkins for texture.
For extra interest, I loosely draped some greenery down the center of the table alongside roses in bud vases.
A good looking table never hurts
Without fail, I always receive a few questions about my dining room table and chairs – which I’m happy to answer because I love them!
They’re the Universal Furniture Summer Hill dining table, dining chairs and arm chairs and I can’t recommend them enough. They’re five years old and still in the same shape as the day we bought them.
And there you have it, guys! In just a few simple steps you can create a charming table setting that is sure to impress all your guests this Thanksgiving.
